The funds referred to herein are Unregulated Collective Investment Schemes (UCIS) / Non-Mainstream Pooled Investment (NMPI) also classified as Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) which are subject to the scope of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive and the requirement for the funds themselves to be managed by an appropriately authorised entity.
